Ullen sentanu

It is a Javanese art and cultural museum of arts and crafts.

Located around 28 KM North of the Keraton, on Kaliurang Street.Being located on the slope of Mount Merapi,

We can see lots a pictures of the Javanese royals, paintings and crafts with historical themes (some are considered as mystical), old musical instruments like gamelan, and a collection of sacred handmade batik.

The building of the complex are architecturally designed and built from local stone, sheltered by trees and featuring walkways overwater, large courtyard spaces and gardens...quiet place filled with historical value.

But , Too bad we don’t allow to take pictures at all in the museum.

For In formation The entrance fee when I visited this museum was Rp 25,000 (USD2.80)/person,

Ullen sentalu area..surrounded by trees and grass was like in a place away from the community.

One room.. looks dark .. (but I am not alone here ) fresh and peaceful was what I feel.

Tour in Ullen Sentalu Museum takes about one hour with a local guide.very interesting to know about the history and genealogy palace

So, If We come to Yogyakarta , and we are culture lovers, then the Ulen Sentalu museum is great choice to visit.
